Role Overview
Honeywell is hiring a Software Engineer I to build and test software that runs on its industrial and building-automation products. You'll work in cross-functional teams spanning software, hardware, and systems engineering.
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and maintain software modules for Honeywell products
- Work with systems and hardware engineers to integrate software with devices
- Debug issues found in test or the field and drive them to resolution
- Write and execute unit and integration tests
- Follow secure and reliable coding practices for industrial-grade software
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Open to both freshers and experienced candidates
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python
- Basic understanding of embedded or industrial software concepts is a plus
