Role Overview
Honeywell is hiring an Embedded Engineer I to develop and debug firmware for its industrial and building-automation devices. You'll work closely with hardware teams to bring products from prototype to production.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and debug embedded firmware in C or C++
- Work with hardware engineers to bring up and validate new boards
- Write low-level drivers and communication protocols
- Support root-cause analysis for field or test issues
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 0-3 years of embedded software experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ and microcontroller-based development
- Familiarity with common communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) is a plus
