Role Overview
Cognizant is hiring a Test Analyst to plan and execute testing for client applications. You'll write test cases, run manual and automated tests, and work with development teams to resolve defects before release.
What You'll Do
- Write test cases based on functional and technical requirements
- Execute manual and, where applicable, automated test cycles
- Log and track defects through to resolution
- Report on test coverage and release readiness
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Open to both freshers and experienced candidates
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals and the SDLC
- Familiarity with a test-management or bug-tracking tool is a plus
